Operations Manager
Responsibilities
Procurement for Xplore's Facility
Source vendors and gather cost estimates to manage service plans and contracts for:
- engineering equipment
- fabrication and testing equipment
- satellite components
- building insurance
- office furniture, supplies, and signage
Facility Operations
- organize and inventory parts
- develop processes to receive and document hardware
- create databases to confirm part numbers
- manage certificates of conformance
- facility maintenance
- comply with EAR & ITAR regulations
General Operations
- assist with general projects for events
- help implement new company policies and procedures, i.e. security protocols
REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
- Bachelor's degree in a related field
- Approximately five years of experience
- Ability to work effectively in a dynamic environment with changing needs and requirements
- Comfortable working in a dynamic and fast-paced environment
DESIRED/ADDITIONAL EXPERIENCE
- Previous position in an aerospace or defense contractor environment
- Experience in security (physical and cyber)
